Does anyone know of a way to turn an object that has been used as a master (parent object) or its resulting clone back into a normal object? Thanks,Ellen
I think, and I hope I am wrong but....the Arrange >"Clear Transformations" will allow you to step back once on the object selected, regardless of what was done to other objects after. I sorta wish Corel could allow the "Clear transformations" to "step back" more on just the object selected, maybe 20 steps or so.
Select both the master and clone object(s), then choose Arrange menu, Break 2 Objects Selected Apart (depending on the number of clones, 2 may be 3 or 4...). This action will break the master/clone relationship.
Hope this helps, Sharon
Yep,
Select master and clones and Ctrl+K
So obvious... Thanks Sharon!
Actually, selecting the Master and one Clone (if many) and breaking apart, will break the relationship with all clones for that Master. If you only want to break the connection for one clone, cut and paste it (only the Clone, not the Master).
