Batching folder to save as .cdr Version 10

Ok, I'm new here, so hello all.

My issue...there is no batch in CDx5 and it's really beginning to irritate me.

I need 1000's of drawings downsaved to version 10.  It's the only viable way for me to open the file in Illustrator so I can grab the unbroken text with a script that autofills translations into drawings.

So essentially I need all the files to be version 10 so they'll open directly in Ai.  I wrote a quick VB macro that will do everything, I just need to batch run it on a folder.  How is it even possible that a batch wasn't put into this program?  More importantly, how do I achieve it?  File converter will not work, it only allows me to go down to version 14, so that's a no-go.  Am I going to have to program it in VB?  I can do it, I just prefer not to write all the code as I already have 3 other VBscripts for the translation process that I have to keep up with, debug, and finish writing.  I thought this would be simple, not even a speed bump, until I saw there was no way to batch a folder Angry...

Any assistance on this would be very much appreciated.
