Hi,
I've imported a logo to Corel Draw. The logo has several simple polylines. I'd like to convert them into artistic media in order to simulate calligraphic or hand made looking strokes. I pick the polyline, then I select Artistic Media from Effects menu. Then CD shows me the Default Strokes in a side docker window. I select any stroke. The polyline changes, but I can't modify the stroke width spinner. What am I doing wrong?. Is there another method to convert lines to artistic media without redraw them over.
Thanks in advance.
Open the Artistic Media docker, under the Window menu, and drag the stroke you want to your object
Hi Ariel,
I've done the procedure you recommend, but I can't modify the stroke width spinner. It's fixed in 0,762 mm, I can't change it. Do you have any idea?
yes, the limit it's 0,762 mm , you can't do less than this. Only if you do the object bigger, break apart and manually reduce the object
Hi again,
Finally I solved my trouble. I redrawn a corel polyline over the imported polylines. Now I can easily convert the lines to brushstrokes and change their widths. The trouble was to try to convert directly imported lines.
Thanks a lot anyway.
