I would really appreciate if it was possible to control (i.e.: set up & check the current value) the drawing scale directly from the command bars, without having to get deep into the Options menu (which is really unpractical and slow).
Actually there is a "Drawing scale" icon, but it allows to choose only among a limited selection of values: if the required drawing scale is outside this range (which happens quite often in my job), there is no alternative from the Options way. Moreover, if the scale is not included into the above-mentioned selection of values, the icon will not show the set scale value, but only a totally useless "Custom" string. Please, improve this item!!
Ok, its CorelDraw 2018/2019 era now and this is still an issue, I use CorelDraw for Scaled drawing and need simply quick single button access to the Drawing Scale dialog window. How can it be done? TODAY! not in the next release.

I am not aware of a one-button way to get to the Drawing Scale dialog.
There is some discussion here - 'Typical Scales' List in all versions - how to add/change - about ways to use VBA to have quick access to specific drawing scales that a user might work with often.

Compared to using CorelDRAW's built-in scale drop-down command, that has the advantages of (1) having scales that don't exist in CorelDRAW's list and (2) having just the scales you want and nothing more.
