Howdy, all - Looking to see if anyone else has had this problem. I run several macros that were either obtained from or written for us by one of the incredibly helpful folks at MacroMonster. They ran fine in Corel X5 **UNTIL** I uninstalled the trial version of Corel X6 after it expired - suddenly, I'm getting the message "Class not registered. Looking for object with CLSID:{C62A69F0-16DC-11CE-9E98-00AA00574A4F" with an "OK" or "Help" button. Clicking on OK brings up another box, "Unexpected Error (713)" I'm running three macros. One works fine, the second one creates that series of errors, and the third macro is simply not functioning at all, doesn't even show up in the Macro Manager. I've done a repair install and a total reinstall in-place - I'm hoping I don't have to completely uninstall X5 and reinstall IT from scratch to get things sorted (we run a pretty fast-paced shop, no real time for that). I've posted this in the Corel newsgroups and the message back was that this sounds like a Corel issue, and that I may indeed have to completely remove X5 also and reinstall. I've tried to post this at MacroMonster but there are no forums there. Anyone else have this issue or got any ideas? I'm running a 32-bit version of Win7 on an Intel Core i5 with 4 gigs of memory, plenty of HD space. Thanks, Anna McCullough

Hi Henry,
Only Corel staff themselves will have an answer for you when it comes to corrupt uninstalls of the entire suite and how it may affect other previous installations. And then what to do about it.
Note: I heard from you privately less than 24 hours ago about this for the first time. Just clarifying for people following this thread that AFA macromonster.com is concerned, it hasn't been weeks. :-)
Jeff,
Yes you only heard from me yesterday but I had already posted on other message boards and contacted other macro developers two weeks ago. The lady above mentioned macromonter.com plugins and so I wrote you and posted here yesterday. Your not the only developer and seller of macros nor is this the only forum for Corel products and support.
True the Corel staff should have the answers but unfortunately they haven't came up with any yet! There are many posts on this forum and other forums about the poor or lack of support by Corel and that's the reason many post here and on other forums because someone with the same problem may have an answer. Posting that macromonster.com is concerned is not an answer unless there is a solution to the problem. The macros themselves are not the problem its the damage caused by the X6 uninstall. Do you have an answer or solution to this issue Jeff?
The good thing is your aware of this problem because the uninstall of X6 trial affects mainly X5 macros and your selling and developing macros. So, you need to be aware of this. I'm glad to see that you and macromonster.com is concerned perhaps your input may help because Corel doesn't seem to care or its to early in the trial for them to have come up with any cure.
Just to set the record straight for those following this thread when I contacted Jeff he did contact the developer of the one macro I wrote to him about. That developer Alexander in turn contacted me right away and the problem was cured with his macro. Unfortunately none of the other macros including others from macromonster are working in X5 nor will they work until there is a solution to the uninstall issue of the X6 trial.

Hopefully Corel support will come up with an answer or someone with the experience and knowledge of this problem will post the solution. Those that are selling macro's should be aware as surely there will be others trying the X6 trial and uninstalling for what ever reason.
