According to the chart at http://apps.corel.com/patches/cdgsx5/sp3/readme_en.html it looks like you already have SP3:
So maybe you have automatic updates enabled or have installed it previously.
But there is also a hotfix 4 at http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index.jsp?pgid=800161&ppid=1000083 which you should probably install next.
Hello
THanks for quick reply
I get the same message with the hotfix, so now I am clueless, do I need to restart maybe ?
Not sure what has happend here but it just wont let me instal this =(
ok mate
We have tried now to export to us selfs and if you turn OFF concert spot colors and I send them files they are black and white, if I turn it on they see colors but it does NOT keep the PMS coding , this is getting very frustrating as when I export files they are perfect and when they export they dont have color lol , so wierd
Is his version Home and Student? In which case I think he needs SP1 (of H&S) to be able to use pantone spot colours. At least that's what I understand from http://apps.corel.com/patches/cdhsx5/sp1/readme_en.html
H&S SP1 is at http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index.jsp?pgid=800161&ppid=2900012
These are full versions Corel Draw X3 Graphic suite that has been upgraded to X5 via CD plate , mine and my 1st colleague and 2nd one has it upgraded thru net.
My 1st colleague has it all upto date, but there is still import issues CMYK its fine all colours are there om import, but as soon as he exports PMS they black and white on import.
I who have also have upgrade do not have this issue at all i can import and export fils but they get black and white files on mine this is very strange .

You need to have GhostScript installed in order to be able to import PostScript files with spot colors correctly. Without GhostScript Draw will fall back on our legacy PS import filter which has limited support for spot colors. Particularly, it does not understand spot colors defined with LAB alternative representation, and this is how X5 creates spot colors by default. Either install GhostScript, on every machine that is supposed to open your PS/EPS files, or change spot color alternative representation to CMYK ( old way ) - Options/Color Management/Document settings/Spot color definition. The later is far from the best options.
