Help please it's driving me crazy
How do you get paragraph text to work.
I have checked various web dites and followed what seem to be very simple instructions but it doesn't work for me.
One said use the text tool and drag out a box to give a text frame. It doesn't drag a box.
ANother said use the rectangle tool and then place the text cursor - which shows a small box wit AB in it - in the frame and it becomes a text frame. My cursor shows a curve and a T and wraps text round the object.
All I want to do is create some simple wrapped text blocks on a sales leaflet.
Help before I go crazy.
Using the text tool is the usual way, but possibly "drag out a box" needs a more detailed explanation.
You should now have a text frame, with a text cursor (usually at the top left) and an option in the toolbar to set various types of horizontal alignment.

That would explain a lot.
A standard mouse, in its default condition, on windows, usually brings up a context menu on the right mouse button. But it is possible to change them round. In WIndows 7 that option is set in control panel > mouse. Windows 8 might be different. But of course, if you change that setting, it will also change it in all your other programs.
If you keep that setting, then you probably need to use the right mouse button instead of the left.
You could also try resetting Corel Draw to factory defaults.
Close the program, now restart CDR but Hold the F8 key down as it restarts you will then be asked to reset the program.
Warning - you will lose any customisation you had.
Good luck
