Rough edges on imported PNG logo designed in Illustrator

I have a high resolution logo which was designed in illustrator and exported as a PNG file.

Now i want to make use of the PNG logo in coreldraw x5 but when i import the logo i get a rough edge and i have the page set to 300pi

I have try all i could but always get the rough edge (edge not smooth)

    PNG is a bitmap format, and therefore not a good way to import vector information.

    Did you try importing the illustrator file? If that does not help, I would suggest exporting from illustrator to PDF (making sure you set whatever options ensure you retain vector information without changing them to bimaps) and try importing that.
