I have a CDR file that was saved in CorelDraw X6. I no longer have contact with the person who created the file and I need to open it in CorelDraw X5. Is there a way that I can import this file? If not, can it be converted from X6 to X5?
Only X6 or X7 can perform the conversion.
There is a free public convertor at http://filespazz.com/ and it may be worth trying. It worked well when I first found it, but then stopped sending any results.
If that does not do the job and the file is not confidential, then a possibility is to put the file on a public server such as dropbox and paste a link here. Somebody will usually be able to convert it.
