If they can’t afford the $100.00 a year to keep Draw current, or have compelling business reasons as applications will not work then DON’T upgrade anything, including the OS.Unbelievable that there are 43 replies to such a trivial problem, dam there is a work around. Moreover, I’m sure there will be additional tools provided on feature releases of win10, or at the very lease you will see more themes by Microsoft or third parties. If I had to spend this much time trying to get x5 to run on win10, I would change my career.

If you buy new car and the brake will broken are you going buy next new car or repairing service with dealer or factory? .... Why you request from other people do not upgrade OS or buy new Corel x7 if Corel x5 - paid already- is good enough for to use next 20 years . There is just small problem and this problem should be resolve by producer the same way like doing car manufacturing... all of this is the business for customer !!! .... and I'm customer .... Corel is the company and I'm expecting from this company They will sell me product , not for one time use .. I cant believe the people can think the way you just showed . do not upgrade or buy new one ... No others possibility ? because nobody wants to work on it ? I have to pay for everything because this is comfortable for company ?
Do you get you care maintenance FREE, you know, oil changes, belts, hoses, tires. I didn’t think so.So why again should Corel maintenance you out of service software? Is it because that after paying lets see.X5 released 2-23-10 that is 65 months ago.If new at $500.00 / 65 = 7.70 mo.If upgrade at 200.00 / 65 = 3.00 mo.I pay more on gas in that car getting to the grocery store a month, so please don’t tell me you are that poor. And if you really want to use x5 for 20 years then don’t upgrade anything, including the OS.

I don't care about 7.7 monthly because this should be cost me zero .. not 7.7 monthly .. so if your car has broken brakes do not use them or buy new one .. this is your way rich man ? .. sorry but I'm not rich enough for to buy new Corel version each time if something on that version I have now is no working ...
No, that's like saying a car built today that rolls on tires should fly if that technology was to exist in the future.Like the ties your car roles on today is like the operating system your software runs on.10 years from now your care will be obsolete, in 20 years it will be an antique, and possibly worth more than you originally paid for it.In software years 3 and 5 respectively should be your thinking.By not upgrading the software you use just puts you out of sync with the real world, you may not like it, many times I have hated it, it is a fact of life though.
