Dear all,
I'm having an issue regarding printing, especially in full background color.
We use Corel Draw X5 for design and then export to PDF.
the Corel Draw default settings are: RGB: sRGB IEC6; CMYK: Coated Fogra 39; primary color mode CMYK; rendering indent: absolute colorimetric; color engine: none.
When export to PDF the color management using the document settings and check coated Fogra 39.
We tried also US Web Coated (SWOP).
Using these settings the colors are not exactly correct.
Anyone can give us a hint how to solve this issue?
Thank you for support.
I am on an install so I can help later the setting of color engine none is incorrect as is the rendering intent.
At www.graphictechnology.com are books on the subject if you want a full understanding of what you're doing.
Where in the world are you? Regions count. How do you get you work output?
I now have a little time to spend with this, if you started creating your file contents with the color engine turned off and the rendering set to absolute colorimetric then the issue will be that your files was displaying in CorelDraw incorrectly from the beginning and may now be to a point where you cannot print the colors.
That would be my suggestion because a file started with incorrect settings can be difficult to correct. Are you printing the file to a press, an ink jest or other digital device? Is this file for web presentation?
Ok then we need to explore the next step. Do you use a RIP or do you select the file menu and then print?
Is the device a postscript device or non-postscript?
BTW I'm going to visit Hershey Foods in about an hour so we can keep up the communications for a short time.
