BR: Paper Size dialog fails

It happens to me about 50 % of all time when I'm using the Paper Size dialog to crop an image:

No matter which alignment I select in the Placement drop-down box, PhotoPAINT uses the opposite direction.

This doesn't always happen, but it happens about every second time I use that dialog (and I use it often). It seems the error occurs randomly, probably not initializing some internal program memory location correctly.

This error is sooooooo annoying and frustrating!

Please fix quickly.

       I don’t understand what you mean by “opposite” placement if you are using the paper size dialog for cropping.  Can you post an example. 
       I’m also surprised that you don’t use the crop tool.
       Let me add that I frequently crop by:
             1. making a selection. 
             2. Moving and sizing the selection to taste.
             3.  IMAGE  >  CROP  >  CROP TO MASK
    I have an icon on a command bar for it.  It’s very handy dandy at times when you want to get a crop to the size of a layer.
