I want to collect here all bugs from CDX6.
After 5 minutes, I noticed that bug with the barcode still exists - after I generate the PDF, black from barcode is composed of CMYK, not clean K-black.
What I do wrong? or how I can fix that? Usually, I open the file in Corel X3, and I generate the PDF again from there.
LE:
In the following days, I will return with other bugs, if I discover them in working in typography.
Thanks!
It's not a bug, if you generate a barcode it will be an OLE object, allowing you to edit and change. If you use the "preserve pure black" option in Tools/Color management the barcode will output as black only. If you don't use this opton but anyway you want to output as only black, or change the color, you can cut (Ctrl+X) and Edit / paste special, choose "Metafile" The barcode now will be a group of objects, then you can ungroup, change colors, etc. so you can change to CMYK 100% black only. But, if you use the "preserve pure black" option enblaed, you don't need to change anything. That's the same of X3, X4 and X5
@Ariel,
I work with many bar codes, which are changed regularly. I can not make them all curves, and then generate them again, whenever they are modified.I want in the PDF, to have only barcode consisting from black, but this must not influenced the other colors of black, so that the remaining elements of K-100% must be overprint.
I did set that you said, but nothing has changed!I said that is a bug, since it is a contentious issue in several places on the Internet, which has generated many complaints.Corel X3, makes the PDF correctly - all bar codes are K, and the remaining elementsare black overprint, so that the typographer, have clean CMY films.
It is annoying, to open every time X3 when I have barcode.
@George, that is not a bug, that is a mosquito!

It seems that many have different crashing issues. My X6 crashed when I opened Connect and opened a local resource and right clicked on an empty zone in the right panel.
Plus a bug that I had in X4 X5 and now in X6 is that in Object manager my content is vanishing, and If I am lucky I just need to refresh the Object Manager but some times I need to restart CD just to see the Object Manager content (this thing happened to me today).
The Bug (not really a bug but a changed function) I don't like in X6 is that now guidelines are not visible in powerclip anymore and that is a huge disadvantage to me. Because lots of times I need to align graphical elements from inside the powerclip with an element from outside the powerclip and I was doing that in X5 with ease because I could see the guideline in powerclip, I even installed a macro that could make guidelines even in powerclip mode so I could make them to help me out without exiting the powerclip.
Is there a setting that can make the guidelines show in the powerclip in X6?

Alternatively, you can change the opacity for objects/guides when editing a clip via a Registry hack.
this would be the problem. I will see along the way how I can do this without losing too much time. And I hope the new alignment guides will help me out.
Strange.Attached is a CDR that you can try. How does it look when you go into PowerClip editing mode?Next post shows what I get.
This is what I see in PowerClip mode:
Guidelines and objects outside the clip are shown tinted.

Try to put the guide line on the middle anchor of your object and see what you get in powerclip. On the parts that are filled you will not see a guideline.

Two easy ways to work around it:Switch to wireframe mode temporarily, orUse 'Select PowerClip Contents' instead of 'Edit PowerClip'.
