I am getting a wierd one and wondering if anyone else gets this error?? If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simpy put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified accross the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and accross the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works perfectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly??
I would love to know if this is happening with anyone else. I have some other bugs I am noticing as well.... so far, I am little impressed.

Hello PDSLLC; The copy and paste from one page the the next works OK on my ver. of X6
George
It seems that it is a memory issue for me. When I have loaded Solidworks and E-dwgs and Outlook and a bunch of open IE pages.... it does the copy paste problem. When I closed out of everything, it worked properly. I guess it can only work within the lower memory??? I dunno. But this might be a problem that I cannot live with. Thanks for the reply.
What type of computer are you working on, OP. system, ram, video, ect.
Dell T7400 / Dual Intel XEON / 20 GB Memory / Windows 7 64-bit OS Professional SP1
Will that work?
Weeeelllllll you did say Dell!!!!!!!!! but the other other specs look good, I'm using a i5, 8 gb. ram, and a 1 gb. video card and have a few programs running at the same time, and don't have a problem running out of ram. Do you think it maybe one of the other programs? You could test by trying to add one of the programs at a time until the problem returns.
Hmmm very odd. It seems to only take about 4 or 5 web pages and outlook open to cause the problem. I am going to try loading X6 on my laptop at home and see what happens there. If it's the dell, then I guess it will be tossed to the curb. Thanks for your help.
Something else to look at is the "Internet Explorer 9" if that's what you are using, I use Fire Fox, and did have problems with a lot of programs when using IE with a few sites open
That could be it. I will take a look and let you know.
Here's the skinny on my machine.... It doesn't matter how many programs I load (I have 15 large CAD and office programs open) copy/paste text works great. As soon as IE9 or Chrome is opened, Copy/Paste reverts back to paragraph text in the middle of the page.... I close out of IE9 or Chrome, paste again and I get the paragraph text in the middle of the page... However, if I recopy a text and repaste, works great. Wierd, I know.... I am going to try this at home on my laptop this weekend. If I get the same problem, then I think it's a bug.... if I don't I think it might be a processor problem on my Dell, or a settings problem within my browser settings?? I will figure it out.
FYI... X6 works he way it is supposed to on my laptop I7 core processor 8MB RAM.... So apparently, my workstation at the office (dual xeons) does not work with copy/paste of text only with IE9 or Chrome opened. Wierd, but true. Guess I'll have to get a new computer. Thanks for your help.
