Ok so first thing I see no Drawing Scale on the tool bar so I go to Options to put it back and it is no longer an option? Are you kidding me? You thought it was a good idea to remove what was probably the most helpful tool you had? For those of us that work in multiple scales on the same drawing this is idiotic!
Hello PeteB; My scale box is still on the menu just in a different place and it can be moved. Something might not have gone well with your update.

I tried a system restore and then couldn't get Corel to work at all! so I had to set back to the updated version. can you send me a screen shot?
Sure PeteB; This is a screen shot AFTER I moved it back to where I want it. It was on the same bar just further to the right.

Sign Guy,
I had the same problem with the drawing scale drop down disappearing after the update. Your screen shot does not show the drop down we are talking about.
The one that is missing is the drop down that allows you to change scale and see it on the property bar. (You had to add it from the view customization menu) I sure hope that it is added back in a hot fix, because I work a lot with different scalesin the same drawing.

Jerry C, that is exactly what I am talking about. What are they thinking?
Pete
Hello Jerry ; If this is not what you are talking about, I'm not sure what you mean!
Jerry,
I posted this on the X6 forum but I see the discussion is here. This is exactly what I am missing also. You could tell what scale you were using at a glance. I will have to revert to a previous version if it cant be added. Simply cant wait 6 mos. for a patch. I use this all day on drawings with multiple scales. Corel, please help us.
Larry
The drawing scale was a customization option to add a drop down box that allowed you to change the scale used to create drawings using a scale factor such as 1/2" = 1'-0". It stayed on the property bar so you could see at a glace what scale your drawing was using and you could change the scale without having to go to rulers page and select the change scale button there. This is a very useful tool and a time saver and needs to be added back.
