Status bar not showing outline widths

Hi.  I just installed X6 and I noticed in the status bar the width of the object I click on only shows up with black outlines.  If it is a colored outline, it shows the color but no width.  If it is black it will show the outline as black but also the width.  I've never seen this problem before.  Help!

Thanks,

Rob

  • Which version of X6 are you using (Help->About CorelDRAW), and what version of Windows are you using?

Running X6.3 64 bit (Version 16.3.0.1114) on Windows 8 - 64 bit,  I do not see the result that you see. My property bar reports the outline line width, regardless of color of the outline.

  • Can you do a screen grab so we can see the issue?

    • Okay guys I found the problem after trying all the things Hug asked me to do and even reloading the program.  It is because there isn't enough room down in the bar that shows where the fill and outline is!  I recently changed my view size for my monitor as I wanted my icons bigger for all my programs including IE and that part of the outline got cut off except for black outline.  Why did the black work?  Because it was the shortest description for the outline and it left enough room for the outline type.  I don't know if my explanation makes sense.  I couldn't find a way to stretch the area in the task bar so changing the monitor setting back to small instead of medium (125%) did the trick.

Thanks to all to attempted to help me, especially Hugh.

      Aloha,

      Rob

It makes sense, thats why I asked for a screen grab!

Glad it is all sorted out.

        • Thank you for explaining what the problem stemmed from. I, for one, would have never thought about screen font size causing the result that you were experiencing.

Glad that you are back up and running.
