Does anyone know if there is a free plug in for CorelDraw X6 that will enable you to send things from CorelDraw directly to the Vinyl Express cutters from Signwarehouse?
Great, thanks so much for your input. So this is helpful because i am running only one machine so this would not be a feature that I would need. Anyone else? Any and all input is appreciated.
Robbie:
It will work correctly, however, the macro does need a little editing to work under the VBA packaged with X6.
I have it (CoCut Pro 4X4) working with DRAW X6.3 under Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8 Pro.
Look for my email.

When you purchased your plotter from Sign Warehouse, did you also get a copy of their Vinyl Express software? If so, this is their branded version of the Flexi software many vinyl sign people use. If you did, I can explain a simple means to design in DRAW and then cut that same design in the Vinyl Express program.
Yes, I did, however it is just the apprentice level which does not support a lot of things. If I'm just doing straight text it works fine, but when I try to do something like arc text in CorelDraw and bring it over to LXI it gets all distorted. Once I get something pulled over if it doesn't look right in the LXI, it won't let me fix it in LXI. I have to go back to Corel Draw and fix it and then bring it over again. This happens no matter which way I do it. If I save it out and then open it or if I cut and paste it. I looked into upgrading the apprentice to a higher level but they are very expensive. I do not want to spend that kind of money. Also, since I am so new to the vinyl cutting world, I read on one of the forums (don't remember which one) that it is so much easier to use the Cocut plugin and cut right from CorelDraw or Illustrator.

OK, now I understand.
There is one thing you may not have tried and that is to export your design from DRAW, to CMX file format, specifically the "CMX - Corel Presentation Exchange 5.0 (*.cmx)".
The reason for that specific version of CMX file, is that the LXi Program's input filters are way out of date to the current file offerings.
In LXi, go to File->Import... and in the dialog, click on the down arrow for File of Type, and choose "CorelDraw Exchange Metafile (*.CMX)"
Try this and let me know how this works for you. (I have the LXi Master Plus version, here, so I can help you out, some.)
