Hello CorelDraw forum!
Question: How can I get the objects to appear in the Object Manager?
I have the CorelDraw 6X suite. The objects in the Object Manager window are not showing up. It's supposed to have curves, images, and text there. Instead, it has got just the following:
Master Guides (all pages)
Desktop
Guides
Layer 1
Document Grid
I have been using CorelDraw since about 1999. My first CorelDraw program was CorelDraw 9. Then about six or eight months ago I purchased CorelDraw 6X
This is the first time anything like this has ever happened. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Do you see a "+" mark before 'Layer 1" ? If so click on the mark to populate the objects on that layer. There could be a chance that you may have created objects on a Desktop layer. Any ways, if any of the layer has a "+" mark before, it means it is in minimized state and has at least one object on it.
Edit : Harry, you are a sprinter

Thanks for responding to my post.
There is not a plus "+" sign beside Layer 1 in a previous document.
I just started a new document. There is not a plus sign in the new document that I just created.
Is it possible that your view in Object Manager is set to show Current page, layers only?
In Object Manager, select the third icon from the left at the top of the docker and check the dropdown - what is it set to? If it is set to Current Page, Layers Only, choose All pages, layers and objects.
Hope this helps.

Sharon;
Thank you so much for responding to my question.
That was exactly the problem. I have got the problem fixed now.
I was tinkering with CorelDraw a couple of days ago. I must have clicked the button from the drop down menu by mistake.
Thanks again.
