I'm having another senior moment here folks. I am trying to figure out how to put some text (TYP.) on the other side of the dimension size. IE: my dimension is 4.00 inches and I want to be able to put TYP (for typical all other parts like this) under the 4.00. I'm sure it is easy - just have not figured it out here.
Hello wcottr; Are you using the Dimension Tool?
George
I am using the dimension tool in X6.
You should be able to type as much as you want. ( Screen Shot Below )

Not sure if this helps, see screenshot.
You can't edit the text in a dimension until you break it apart CTRL+K
Have you tried un-selecting the "Dynamic Dimensioning" button on the dimensioning toolbar after you've added the dimensions to your layout? If you click that, you can then change the copy associated with that dimension. Once you select Dynamic Dimensioning again, the copy will change back to its original state.

Hey Basicmetal
Just re-reading some old threads and realised that I had missed your little pearl here.
I will be using this from now on.
Cheers,Chris
Thanks for the help folks - appreciated. With your help I got it going for me now and I will print this thread for future reference (old people forget easily).
