I am trying to import an AutoCad DXF File into CorelDRAW X6 (64 Bit). It continues to give me an "Unrecoverable Error." In reading some previous posts, I tried exporting as a AutoCAD 2000 DXF to see if an older file type would work with no luck. I am using AutoCad 2014.
Attached is the DXF file I am trying to import.
thoughts???

Ah! There is your problem. You need to install the update to bring your Corel Graphics Suite up to 16.1.0.xxxx and after you run it once, to establish an account with the server (optional, but you get all sorts of freebies), you can update to 16.4.0.1280.\
Once you do that, you will have absolutely no problem importing that very DXF file.
Hi Hugh,
My problem is a little bit different, i'am using corel draw x6 suite, when i tried to import a DXF file into corel, it imported normally but with no layers, in my example i imported Countours (Minor, intermediate and major), so is there any solution to get the layers displayed as i got only one layer contatining all the others.

Hrm...to tell the truth, I do not know that much about DXF files and the options to create the file in what-ever program you used. So, hopefully, someone else, who is more familiar with DXF file formats and their creation, will jump in here and help.
