The size of objects in the property bar and in the transformation docker only change when the object
is moved or the scale is changed. For example- object 1 is 50" x 50"- selecting a new object that has
different dimensions- the object size stays at 50" x 50"- only when the new object is moved do the
object sizes change. This is clearly some problem with Corel x6- 64 bit version- or is it a Windows 7
problem. Has anyone had the same problem with Corel X6
Please respond to this question as soon as possible.
Hello ace signs; I'm using the X6 64 bit CorelDRAW and I don't have that problem. You can reset Corel by holding down the F8 key while starting Corel, keep in mind that it will reset it to a new install as out of the box.

Do you have the latest updates? I seem to remember something like this in one of the earlier X6 releases, which has since been fixed.
Help > updates will check whether you have missing updates.

I recommend updating anyway, in case you don't have build 16.4.0.1280 already (Help > About CorelDRAW...).
we have the latest update- rebooting the computer restores the function of the docker for 2 days or so
but the problem always comes back. I am not sure if it is a Windows problem or a Corel problem
My computer has Windows XP and Window 7 in it, but I only use Windows 7, maybe this is the problem
The other computers in the office using Corel X6 ( 64 bit version ) don't experience this problem ( they only have Windows 7
in their computer.
Windows 8, 32 bit on this computer.
