I've been holding my breath and Corel didn't crash yesterday. However, I haven't been able to set the color for brush strokes. I must be doing something wrong. I'm setting the color for the brush before I draw a stroke but it always comes out black.
Any ideas??

From my experiences, you need to set the brush color first (or create the object), then save that object as an "Artistic Media Brush".
My DNA brush has multiple colors preset from original, but I can also click the brush and quickly switch to one color via the colors palette.

That's what I've been doing. I st the color and outline before making a stroke. It doesn't save it. Are you daying I need to make a custom bruh with the color I want?

Yes, you need to make the custom brush first with the specified colors and outlines, then Draw away! The strokes' colors can be changed later of course, if necessary.
