Can someone explain to me why I can not edit the bitmaps to PAINT X6 automatically
This worked very well for 2 years!
My last point, I re-installed in parallel CD X3 to receive a link with 32-bit Office programs
For information, the link is not done either with X3

Then it will probably be trying to open bitmaps in X3 photopaint and if you did not install this, it will fail. You will also, probably, no longer have thumbnail display for X4, X5 or X6 CDR files in windows explorer as a result of doing this.
Re-Running the installation of X6 and selecting the repair option should in theory fix both these problems.

I would try the X6 repair install once more, making sure you are logged in as administrator.
If that fails, you will probably need to uninstall (if it will let you), run a registry checker such as cCleaner (go to piriform.com for it, do not go to any other site) and try installing X6 again.

And as a bonus, I get the update 4-1281 which curiously I could not install from my version 4-1280
