When i start Corel my default palette is showing as usual. If I open a .cdr file the palette changes and almost all colors disappear! Same issue when saving a new .cdr file jusrtafter start up with the default palette looking just normal. When saved the defalut palette is changed.
Here is the screen when program is launched:
And here it is after opening or saving a document
Can anyone tell me what causes this? I have used Corel for more than 10 years and usually I can fix it if something is not as it used to be, but this one made me give up :-(
Any tips will be appreciated very much.
Thanks - Morten
I suspect you have had a recent iTunes/iClooud update. Several people have reported that it kills other programs, including the CorelDraw palette, but other adverse effects have been reported.
I'm not sure if doing a repair install of CorelDraw will fix it whatever damage iTunes has done to windows, but I would hope that it might.
The other possibility would be to run the windows system file checker, but this has to be run as administrator -- see http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
Already did a repair install and that did not help anything. :-(
Removed ICloud for Windows, performed repair install of Corel AND NOW I'M BACK IN BUSINESS!!!
THANKS!!!
I can also publish to PDF again!!! Had forgotten that problem was present before also...
