How to create own line style?

Hello,

I'm having difficulties creating a line style that has filled triangles along the edge of the line (see file below).

I was wondering if anyone has any idea how I could do this?

    I've made some progress in getting the triangles to align along my line by using the blend tool. The only issue is that the triangles are connected to the path through their centre and not at their base.
    Any idea how to change the position of all the blended objects (I can only move them along the line not above or below it)?
