PDF Query test.cdrWhy does some text not appear when i print to pdf?
I am using x6 & using various size of Verdana text ...some comes out on the pdf & some doesn't.
If i concert to curves it works but isn't quite as clear as non converted text
Hello Ariel ...have attached a jpeg ...i did the work in CorelDaw x6 then when i printed to pdf the highlighted in yellow text didn't come out ...everything else did but just not that highlighted text ...so i had to convert it to curves & it was ok ...just seemed slighty less quality tho!
When i tried Publish to PDF ...That was exactly the same problem!
MikeWe said:There are a few reasons but mainly it is the meta data.
Mike, metadata couldn't increase 10 times the size of a file...
Pete said:I don't really understand which settings work in pdf's so only really used the Corel defaults & changed the odd thing but they made no difference! ...it would help me a lot if i could use the Corel option! :-)
it's for commercial printing, for plotter, for digital, for web...?
Ariel, you would be surprised.
First up is a PDF. Note the image size amount. Note the meta data amounts. Now, here is where there is a lie. The image amount is not specifically the images themselves, but also the metadata associated with them. this is a two-page flier.
Now, I will clean up just the information associated with the PDF. Please note the checkboxes. I am not resampling--I am not touching the images nor the vector information in the PDF itself.
And this is the Audited result. Note the file size difference. It makes no difference in the printing, whether digitally nor offset. Nothing about the images, the smooth shaded objects, the text is still live--nothing required for printing this PDF.
