I got a new keyboard and the function keys only go up to F10. I'm trying to create a custom shortcut key for the Outline Properties since I don't have F12. I know how to create custom shortcuts for commands but I can't figure out how to create one for a menu. Is this a possibility?
Go into Tools>Customization>Commands. In the Command options dialogue, choose Fill and Outline from the drop-down menu. Scroll down the list and choose Outline Pen. Switch to the Shortcuts tab on the right. You should see the F12 shortcut listed under Current Shortcut Keys . Above that type in a new shortcut and click Assign.
