I'm having issues w/my Palette doing the below. I have tried re-saving my palettes but every time I close corel the below happens. Help?
This is apparently caused by installing a recent iTunes/iCloud update -- which somehow breaks the way windows processes numeric fields in countries that use the decimal comma. Though I thought this problem was only seen in X6 not X7.
Until adobe admits and fixes that problem, you can either uninstall iTunes/iCloud and reinstall CorelDraw, or you can temporarily reconfigure windows in control panel > region and language so that numeric fields use decimal dot rather than comma.
Thanks!
Hey There,
Looking at your screen capture this issue appears similar to other palette issues that we have experienced in the past that are NOT related to the iCloud issue. Would you be able to confirm your build number and also the location that you are saving/accessing the palettes from.
Cheers

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Is this issue new or have you experienced since a recent update?
I have had X7 approx. 2 Months now and Have had this palette issue since the first time I exited Corel. I have not be prompted for any updates and to be sure i checked to see if there were any - none at this time. Once i realized it wasn't anything I could fix - I posted it. I did try to fix it myself before posting, though.
Ok, I just want to confirm a couple things.
-Do you have this issue with all palettes?
-Your palettes are located on a separate server that you are mapped to?
-Are all palettes in this location? Did you keep the standard set of installed palettes in place or have they been removed?
-There are two locations that we look for palettes by default. One is for user generated palettes and one is for palettes that are installed with the application. Could you please verfify if there are palettes in either location
User location
C:\Users\username\Documents\My Palettes
Default installed location
C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7\Color\Palettes
Thanks so much
Yes. I had a mix between .cpl & .xml. So i resaved all as xml from x7 just to be sure. Issue only occurs when i exit corel and/or restart computer and launch corel.
This is correct. So all employees can access our custom palettes.
Palettes on server are custom palettes we created. Not defaulted to Corel x7. None of corel's default palettes are on our server because we do not utilize them.
I have a couple personal palettes I have saved in this location.
All Defaulted palettes are in this location
