I've run into a few problems were windows updates are causing me issues. It isn't just corel, it is several programs. For example, there was an update on the 17th that if I install it, I can't view emails, open word documents or open new or existing corel draw files.
So I've figured out that.
and everything is working normal again.
Except...
And here is my actual problem:
When I change the text took to a new font or new size, it used to ask me if I wanted to save that as a new default. It doesn't do that anymore. It changes BOTH artistic and paragraph text defaults. No prompt.
Any idea what's going on?
The most current windows update I'm having a problem with is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2952664 I'm trying to limp along until I have time to build a new system all together and move everything to a new workstation.
Well the update is still a problem but I figured out the text issue. It is a corrupt workspace. Good thing I keep a back up workspace.
Edit: Now the problem is intermittent. Great.
Hello Mike; The Windows Updates are not always my Best friend for sure, I have updates set to notify me not auto install, so I can undo them if needed. That seems to help me some. I got to build a computer for another sign co. last month that just hooked up to a cutter they were having all kinds of trouble ( that they made ) with the Lan and wanted to transfer files for cutting with a thumb drive, I used a i3 that wasn't all that fast for the cost of building it.
