We have a very strange problem.Sometimes, but not all the time, when publishing a pdf (publish selection only) the pdf file is empty. The size of the pdf is exaclty the size of the selection, but there is no content in it.I've tried al pdf versions, all settings. But nothing helps.
Selecting the design, click on publish pdf. Settings are: (selection only).Result: Empty file.Do exacly the same (select again everything I want to publish).result: Empty file.Do it again... yes! Score. Now the pdf is ok.
Sometimes I have to do it 5 times to get the pdf out.Sometimes it works the first time.

So, Mr Ariel, Stefan L. , Mr. Gerard, etc. , here is the time to show here the evidence that coreldrawx7 works fine . If some of you tells that everything works fine in coreldrawx7, please prove this. Honestly.Thx
Thanks for the invitation, although it's not needed since it's obviouly ironic. Since I work on a Prepress section of a printing company, my dialy job is to create a lot of PDF from CorelDRAW files. Then, if the program doesn't worked, my co-workers and me can't do our job. And same will happens on all companies around the world. But fortunately, we receive a lot of PDF made with CorelDRAW (we check each PDF) and we create several PDF everyday. So. I can confirm that Publish to PDF work, not only for my personal experience, or for having something such as "a special unknown version", but because I receive the feedback of several users around the world.
But that doesn't mean I did't believe the problem of stickerland, since this problem was reported before on this forum. a possible explanation can be the multi-core processing: when you export (as any file format) CorelDRAW use one processor, and allows to continue working while the program is still exporting on the background. Same happens with Save or Print. But if you try to open the file while the program is working on the background, the file is not ready, don't open or open as a blank file.
If the file is empty after finishes the export, maybe it's something about Windows (it doesn't update the the folder inmediately) or an antivirus that's checking the file after create it. a window refresh (F5) should update the information, And also try to Publish to PDF again, since it should "force" Windows to update. Disable the Preview panel on Windows Explorer, because if Windows is generating a thumbnail could interferring on the creating process. Also, it's important to know if you're working on a network because it could be relative to administrative permission.
It is very difficult to make a diagnosis without seeing the computer and without knowing the configuration, all are assumptions, ideas and theories.
Another possible reason is the document size: remember that CorelDRAW allows big pages, but Acrobat has a size limit, such as 5 meter aprox. The PDF open fine with other PDF readers, such as Foxit Reader but Acrobat can't handle a big size page, so it open as a blank empty file.
