Do you want to save? After no changes

Sometimes (can't see any rule or pattern here) Corel asks me if I want to save/keep changes when closing the file which was just opened but no changes were made. Usually even "Save" icon (discquette) is not active. Sometimes even "Back"/"Forward" arrows are not active (which means that there was no move forward, back in history of editing). But still Corel keeps asking. It's pretty bothering when you work on several files and have to remember if you did change anything or not.

Does anyone have same problem?

  • Yes, I am having the same problem in X7! This has just started to happen in the last month or so.
If I have multiple documents open, or multiple page documents open.
I do nothing to document 1, switch to take a look at document 2 and then go back to document 1, the save icon shows up even though I have done nothing to either documents except switch pages.
There are no callouts, I'm not using a macro and there have been no font substitutions.

This is just as annoying as having the pages 'redraw' my vector files every time I enter a page or a new document. Sometimes I'm working with a vector graphic that has 1000's of pieces in it and it can be a ten minute wait or more to select parts of it.
