I am getting ready to start a book that will consist of 150, 2 sided, pages that will be perfect bound. I am looking for any advice that will help in creating the CDX7 document file work without, hopefully, crashing due to the number of pages. What is the maximum number of pages that can be created in 1 file? The page size will be 8.5 x 11 and as each physical page will have two sides the document will consist of 300 pages. All the images placed in the document will be either pdf or jpeg with a few exceptions. Let me know if any additional info is needed.
Thanks
Raj.
CorelDRAW supports up to 999 pages. However, due your work will have 300 pages and containing many illustrations, I strongly recommend that you save your file in parts (about 25 pages at a time - assuming that the JPG images are in high resolution, which could turns a huge file at end). By doing so, you minimize the risk if, by chance, you experience any "crash" you will not lose all the work. At the end, gather all pages in one file (Import the parts in sequence, for example: Pages 01-25, 26-50, 51-75 ... etc). I have used this method and I haven't had difficulties in dealing with the whole job.
Note: Read the Tutorial by Ariel G. Diaz which contains very useful information on this issue.

That link doesn't take you to the tutorial Ariel. Just to a page about the tutorial from which there is no link to it. Would be more helpful to take people straight there.
Edit: this stupid forum by default only shows the posts flagged as 'The Answer'. And the link in Silvios' post takes you to the tutorial. Thanks you Silvio.
