CorelDRAW X7 Can't save anything

Can't save anything

Hi all,

I just upgraded to CorelDraw X7 and now find that I cannot save any files. I keep getting an error message:

"A problem occurred accessing memory. Please refer to the Technical Support Help"

Condition #1001-D:/Waldo/V1700/APPS/VGCORE/CDCORE...

I have tried rebooting to no effect.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I just realized that this issue only applies to saving older files which were created in previous versions of CorelDraw...new files save fine.

Hello Mike,

I am not a corel support staff, but my first thought would be this;

1) Did you install "Typical Install" or did you customize it
2) After you installed X7, have you registered your license, meaning do you have a Corel account. If you do have that, which is FREE, then go to the www.corel.com or www.coreldraw.com website and look Support > Patches and updates.
3) Log in to your account.
4 In Patches and updates, download and install the latest update. And install.

5) Now try again.
