Hi all. I am running Windows 7 on a built machine and direct connect Epson WF 30. Everything had worked great for a long time an now my print dialogue interaction is almost unuseable. As soon as I click to print, it takes several minutes for the window to come up and all my profile settings are no longer remembered. When I click to change ANYTHING, Corel immediately goes into "not responding" and takes several minutes to respond. Ink Levels also no longer show and ( while maybe not related but worth mentioning ) the print windows no longer open on the screen I am working on. Totally randomly they will open on any of my 4 monitors.
I have reinstalled drivers, defragmented, cleaned all temp files etc and no change. I have searched for a long time and tried all the recommendations to no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Work is painfully unproductive when it takes 15 minutes to print a page!
Thanks!

Is this a network printer? Is this behaviour new, or have you just installed CGS? Have you just upadted Windows?
thanks for your willingness to help me, but as i've stated #4 that this happens to many and most of my printers, which means that it also happens when i hit print and the pdf writer printer is the default so it has nothing to do with the printer or network whatsoever its not a printer problem and also because as soon as its finish with the freeze i can do everything in the printer settings of any of the printers and everything prints normal. just when i hit print corel freezes for about 6-7 minutes then everything is back to normal.
yes the behavior is new, and now its happening to another machine in my office.
i have not installed anything new and i don't know what cgs is.
windows probably has updated something, cuz i have everything on automatic updates, also corel updates automatically, of course we can assume that it has something to do with a new update because it didn't happen the day before it happened ..... it happened one day with no magic..... anyway now i see another machine also same thing so it must have to do with some update as all my machines i set to automatic updates.
cgs=Corel Graphice Suite....
I assume you're using X7, since that's the forum we're in and that you've installed all the updates
There were issues with some versions of the program hanging whilst polling network printers, even if they weren't the default printer.
However, it sounds more like a Windows update issue since the last update for X7 was 6.1 in Oct 2015.
I seem to remember issues with working with files in the cloud, and I think the recent Win10 update did something related too OneCloud. Do you have any files in Onedrive, Dropbox etc?
I uninstalled corel complete and reinstalled the x8 version and having the exact same problem, I have no idea what to make of this.
this is driving me insane, every time I hit print I have to wait for a good 6-7 minutes its just crazy
Can you check when your last Win10 update happened? If it was at the same time as this problemappeared, it might be worth uninstalling the update to see if this was the cause.
its windows 7. but the problem started about the 4th of this month I don't see anything new installed
I'm running out of ideas.....
I once had a similar issue in another program, and resolved it by reinstalling the latest printer drivers.
In Win 7 can you roll back printer drivers? It might be worth trying to see if it's a new printer driver problem.
Other thoughts:
Is it just one file?
What does task Manager show while the X7 is hanging?
I don't think it has to do with the drivers because I've tried to default a few printers.
