I open a file and do nothing but start a new doc. I hit the tab to go back to the opened file and it already shows it needs saved. Go to Edit/undo and nothing to undo.I can open other files and switch tabs and all is good.
I suspect I have a macro to run on open or on active doc but can't seem to find the culprit.
Deleted temp files and restarted cd. Same happens with just this file.
Found it! The culprit was actually a couple of shapes.
A couple of weeks ago I was given a pdf file. The pdf was obviously from a cad program as all the "holes" to be cut out were made up of many line segments instead of a perfect circle. I noticed this right away and used my handy macro to convert all these circular shapes back to an ellipse. I missed a couple of them.
I copied the file and saved it to my desktop for testing. I began deleting sections of the file until I found the shapes that were causing the issue.
Problem solved
Can someone mark this a "Answered"?
I don't get it either. Every time I switch between doc this one would have the save icon active (not grayed out) and if I hit close it would ask if I wanted to save it. I've done absolutely nothing to it. Save it then tab to another doc and then tab back and it needs saved again. After replacing the 2 shapes that I missed when cleaning up the file the behavior stopped. I tried importing the pdf's again to a new file and haven't been able to reproduce the odd behavior.
