Problem with "Linear Transparency" when Publishing to PDF in CorelDraw x7

Does Anyone Knows what is the issue with this problem in the CorelDraw x7?

When I "Publish to PDF" my design page, and then I open the PDF file, it does not show the"Linear transparency" of this object properly.

It cuts my object's bottom side.

How can I fix that?

Thank you.

  • what setings are you using for Publish to PDF?
    • Hi Ariel, :-)

Here are the screenshot of My Pdf Settings:

      • according with your screenshots, you're using compatibility with Acrobbat 6.0, an old Acrobat version. try using compatibility with Acrobat 9.0
        • Good Morning Ariel!

I did as you told me:

I put the compatibility with the Acrobat 9.0.

+ Also, I have Unchecked the [Render complex fills as bitmaps] box.

+ and the [Preserve document overprints] box.

Now the transparency has gone, and it has a uniform fill and the shadow has problem now.

Also it shows this error in the Adobe Acrobat Pro (An error exists on this page...)

Is there something with the Transparency in Corel?

          • I ckecked back again the "Preserve document overprints" box ☑ and the shadow of the Medicine Box came back, but the transparency brakes again.

        • What are you opening the pdf in?
        • Hi Guys,

I think the problem was here:

When I choose the Compression type as "ZIP" then everything is OK.
