Usually when I enable a docker it stays there, but all of my dockers have been hidden when I start up Corel. Also my color palettes on the right side go away as well. Is there a way to keep them permanently available upon start up?
it's part of the workspace. DId you saved your workspace?

How could the user NOT save the workspace? Other than, say, manually killing CorelDRAW by using the Task Manager.
Saving the workspace is something that CorelDRAW does automatically when the program is closed, yes? Or when one activates a different workspace?
I havent manually saved the workspace. And I often do have to use task manager to "klill" the program because we have a rather weird OS set up and low RAM. But Ive never had the workspace just change/ hide things like this. How do you save your workspace manually?
Are you using a workspace that you have saved with its own name? Or are you just using the default workspace?
The reason I ask this is that I had an installation of X8 where it would not correctly "remember" which workspace I was using even when closing CorelDRAW normally.
So, I could be working in Workspace XYZ when I ended a session of CorelDRAW, but the next time I started CorelDRAW, it would load the default workspace. There was nothing wrong with Workspace XYZ, and I could manually load it and work in it. CorelDRAW was just failing to remember the active workspace correctly when closing.
I dont work in the Default Workspace, I changed a few things. The main thing I like is having my macro dockers and things like the Color Palette Manager and Text Properties Dockers ready and available to me, and I put the outline pen tool in the tool bar. All the appearance changes stayed the same, but it did just go back to the default workspace, but Ive never "saved" my workspace it just always memorizes it usually.
I also have consistent issues with it remember my color management settings. I finally just decided to just work in RGB because I only need CMYK occasionally and it would always set itself to "Simulate Color Management OFF" and still does after uninstalling and re installing....
