I have about 200 jpg images that I want to resize all to 2" high. I didn't see how to resize all of them in one step in Corel, so I resized them all with ACDSee. When I import those images into either Word or Excel, they come in correctly at 2" high. However, when I import them into Corel, theyt change to 8.33" high. I noticed that the dpi also goes from 300 to 72 and if I resample them back to 300 and check off, "Maintain original size" then it reverts back to 2". So the problem seems to be that they are being automaticaly resampled down to 72 dpi on the import and that is affecting the size. How can I get around that so I don't have to resample all the pictures individually? I am looking for a way to get them all into Corel at 2" in one (or a few) steps. Thanks for the help.

HI M,
It's odd that the DPI is not respected.
Anyway, what you can do is import them into draw, select one or more and simply scale them to 2" tall. How?
If you need all the pics, here's my steps:
1. copy them to clipboard using windows explorer
2. paste into CorelDRAW. you should have a tall stack of them now. :-D
3. ensure they are selected
4. press lock on property bar or ensure aspect ratio is maintained
5. type 2" in height area on property bar. Pics should scale with right aspect.
6. DPI will self-adjust since all images were scaled down. no resampling needed.

Have you installed all patches and updates for CorelDRAW 12?
Thanks for the answer Ahmad. Copying and pasting is simple and did the trick.

Great! Thanks to Jeff. And you have the other option, in case you don't want to use the clipboard.
Thank you msasson.
