This seems odd, i just made a very small filled square X4 SP2 , no outline. And exported as blue bitmap at 16x16 pixels. No fringes are on it, even though I had AA on during export. So, all is good. upload a small Draw file of yours with one icon i can test to see what it does here.
Maillefer said:I don't understand Corel phylosophy . If you make an icon on Corel and export it, why should it be antialiased in the border ? No sens.
Maillefer said:Does someone can confirm the problem is solved with X4 in English ?
See attached.
Maillefer said:Jeff, you made a solution for previous versions, does your solution works with X4 (FR)
My solution not needed for X4. since Draw not export with problems for me. The tool I show before is a macro for PP X4. for fixing images that may have come from somewhere else and has the fringe. It does not crop images, since that changes the pixel dimensions of file. It fills in the fringe with color from nearby.

I still get the issues with X4 latest build on exporting.
here's a solution that works perfectly.
Try this:
1. Close draw2. Open 'Start-Run' then enter 'regedit' 3. go 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\CorelDRAW\14.0\CorelDRAW\Application Preferences\Convert to Bitmap\'4. set "ExpandHalfPixelWhenAntiAliasing" to 0
You should have the old behaviour.
It's a solution that Hendrik suggestes.
thank you Hendrik, once more
Hi Jeff, now I'm confused. I downloaded your test, exported the the violet square to BMP, without making any changes in my configuration and no border !!!!!!.
I don't know why. I must try further. May be you can tray with my uploaded files ?
THanks.
JC
Hi HKLee, thanks for the advise. I tried, your suggestion but, unfortunately the result is the same.I still have a lighter boarder (1 px) all arround the exported file. May be you try my uploaded files.
I proceed as you mentionned, and even reboot the PC. But result is same.
Any other suggestions ?
Thanks.
(PS I changed my Name Maillefer to Jean-Claude)

Oh, my!! with your file, Same problem here
I think It is dfferent problem from 'ExpandHalfPixelWhenAntiAliasing'
Exporting or converting to bitmap a object with Outline under 2px cause such a broblem, but no problem with no outline or thicker than 2px.
Export or convert to bitmap your object without outline to avoid such problems and here is another way, see the movie http://www.fleetingglimpse.com/tutorials/nowhitebox/nowhitebox.html
