Some years ago purchased CorelGallery 1,300,000. The vector clipart came in a .CCX format.
However, the Gallery browser no longer loads into my Service Packed Windows XP. Also XP and Vista cannot display .CCX thumbnails in their respective Explorers.
Today I discovered if I change the file type from .CCX to .CMX. the thumnail displays.
My challenge is how to covert about 500,000 files from one to the other en masse.
Any suggestions, please.

It took me ages to rename the extensions on 3 CDs one folder at a time from .ccx to .cmx. Gave up. Today I found a little program called 'Rename Expert'. Cost me less than $AUS30. Did the remaining six in about 10 minutes. Worth the money even if it's only used the once.
Can now preview all 1,300,000 bits of Gallery stuff in my browser. Alright.
That did not work for me. I am running windows7. Changing the file extension only changed the placeholder image, did not show a thumbnail of the image
