My business computer died, and with it my CorelDraw. I use an older version, Corel Draw 7. My problem is that I misplaced Disk 1, the installation disk. I have the other 3 in the set. I'm looking for Disk 1 online and cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell? I could buy a new version, but my graphic designer really wants what he's accustomed to.
If they are comfortable with Corel 7 and it they find that it does what they need then I don't see a reason for upgrading. I still use Corel 10.
Anyway, I have a full set of 3 original Corel 7 CDs (not a copy). I bought that set on eBay few years ago (and I used Corel 7 before upgrading to 10). If you are interested contact me off-list to work out the details. My email is peteski7@yahoo.com .

Everyone know their own needs. I have used both version 7 and version 10 and like both versions and did what I wanted but my own needs are now bigger. Personally I believe Colour Management to be very important, and the knowledge on how big of a change it have been in regard to Colour Management alone, is a big reason for everyone to upgrade, in my own opinon. Especially if you work with print. Working with Photo-Paint and how the new Object Docker give a much better way of organizing my work with objects (layers).
But instead of listing all the additions. Let say they whant to upgrade to Windows 7 or later on Windows 8, then their CorelDRAW 7.0 might not work so good anymore. Upgrading the CorelDRAW 7.0 version is an upgrade for the future. If the computer they sit on is crashing, then they need to buy a new computer. If they buy a new computer it will most probably come with Vista or Windows 7 at least. And then you are there with a version of CorelDRAW that is to old for the operating system.
And most important, their graphic designer will feel at home with X5, and will find all the tools he/she is used to, and find more tools to work with to improve their work.
