Hi,
i want to make a logo with corel draw 7.0(older version not x7!) but i have problems with making a cutout of the squirrel so that the green back colour is the same.
I would be very pleased to get some help how to change the squirrel bitmap with cut or make the same back colour.
Thanks in advance,
Florian

When someone asks a question about usage of an older version, gloating about how easy the task can be accomplished in the more recent version, and advising to upgrade is really not very helpful. Older Corel versions are quite capable and someone might not want to, or be able to upgrade to a more current version.
I agree, not all people need the latest version. Some people is forced to upgrade, because if received newest files they can't opent it, or they have some compatibitly issues (newest versions of Windows, for example). For example, version 7.0 was developed for Windows 95, although it could work under Windows 98 and XP, but ifyou buy a new computer maybe you will ind problems for install it, Anyway, not always the best solution is to upgrade, specially since older versions could work faster on newest computers. My favorite version was CorelDRAW 9.0, fast, stable and simple.

The X starts with version 13.0 for replace the "10" with the X (10 in roman numbers). You now, it's the superstition to fear of the number 13, that's called Triskaidekaphobia. Anyway, Corel rename most of their brands wit the new syste, then other product were kaunched as version "X2", but CorelDRAW 12 was not X2, It starts to change with the 13th version
is fear of the number 13
