Hei
I am making a map with my Corel draw 10. It's a big map with many nodes in several filled objects. When I wont to Break apart nodes I got the errormessage: Object too Complex, Exceeds 64 K bytes. I have also tried in Corel Draw X3 and I got the same message. This is a big problem for me. I have imported the basic map from dxf-format and I had to manually join very many lines and curves to get filled the objects.
Is there a way to set another 64K bytes limit?
Thanks
Haavard
I don't have a lot of experience with .dxf files, but trying to join all those seprate pieces is probably a losing battle.
Have you tried using the Smart Fill tool or the Create Boundary tool in X3................for me, it worked like a charm to convert those pesky .dxf files.
You'll get instant filled shapes and a drastically reduced number of nodes.
Hei and thanks Diane.
Your solution did not help me with my spesific problem, but I got some tips on how to do it next time. Thank you.
Just so that you can see with this very, very simplified sample..............there is a huge difference in object and node count.
I'm sure the contrast would be more dramatic working on a file as large and as complicated as the one that you are working with.
Good luck!
