What kills me is that I've already done this, years ago. I can't remember how I did it, nor can I figure out how to do it from scratch. I think there's something wrong with me.
I've already got one with twelve individual slices. That one is perfect.
I need to make another with six slices.Maybe I could take the old one and delete lines between adjacent slices, then join nodes along the curves and at the corners, but what I really need to do is make a six-slice color wheel from scratch.
Every time I start planning, I hit a wall.
If you have the time, I could use some help figuring this out.
Thank you, and have a great day!
Not sure if this is what you're after.
Thanks, Myron!
I had already managed to make a line and spin duplicates relative the center point, and made a the circle with the same center. Then I was at a complete loss as to what to do next.
I used the smart fill tool, and now realize what a boon the tool is. I am ashamed to admit I've never used it before today.
Years ago, when I made the 12-slice color wheels, I was probably using CorelDRAW! 7 or 11, breaking lines and curves, joining nodes, doing everything the hard way. I'm guessing maybe I made one slice, then figured out how to rotate it to make twelve identical slices that fit together.
I'm on X15, now. Should probably upgrade.
Thanks for helping me out, Myron!
Thank you for post.
