Can anyone please advise me whether this is possible with Paint Shop Pro 7 and, if so, how I go about it.

Mary I don't understand what you mean when you say an 'embroidery chart'?
I have been told that with Adobe Photoshop you can turn a photo into a graph which shows the squares and colours to make an embroidery of the photo. I am hoping that this might be possible with Paint Shop.
I used to have a programme from Cross Stitch Professional but this was on the old type 3" x3" discs which will not go on my new PC. I do not want to buy their up date for just this one project.
