CorelCAD VS Designer

CorelCAD is like Autocad. Designer is like CorelDRAW. That's the simple explanation - You can design 3D solids and export them as STL files for printing from CorelCAD but not Designer. If you have a more specific question, please let me know - I use CorelCAD and CorelDRAW mostly, and rarely use them together, but am starting to run into times that I need to - There are plugins with Designer that are also much better at rendering your 3D designs from CorelCAD than the CorelCAD application can -
