Hello all. I am pretty new to corel and am having some issues. I am a tech illustrator and some projects I work on have very specific standards for call outs. The arrowheads that are defaults are to fat and when I change the scale in the settings the halo gets out of control. When a default is used the halo come to a point at the tip of the arrow but when the scale is changed the halo no longer ends at the tip. Any help will be great thanks.

can you post screenshots that illustrate the issues you're seeing with the halos on callouts?
In the Properties tool bar at the top of the screen you get access to many object specific settings. When selecting a callout you will see callout properties up there, including halo settings:
In Corel DESIGNER X6, the complete set of properties and object settings can be accessed through the Property Manager docker (go to Window menu > Property Manager... or press Alt+Enter to show this docker):
