I was searching for tutorials on creating isometric drawings in Designer and found very little. The only tutorials I have found cover basic square shapes and nothing on curved objects. I only use Corel and haven't really messed around with this program. I'm toying around with this to try and see how this can benefit me with demonstrating various types of signage with some depth. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi
I am in the learning curve also, and keen to understand more about using the Isometric facility within Corel DESIGNER X6.
Previous experience using CorelDRAW 11 in conjunction with IsoCalc produced acceptable results. As yet I cannot match all of the tricks that could be performed with the old set up.
I attempted to Attach a File but the limits on size prevented that action. Please check your PM.
Cheers,
G
Thanks! Will try later this week.
Hi again
As you did not respond again it was hoped that you managed to obtain the information you need(ed).
This does not appear to be the case because you have made a similar enquiry at:
https://coreldraw.com/forums/t/39935.aspx
As your requirements are specific to Corel DESIGNER X6 and in particular Isometric Drawing, this is probably best dealt with here.
The Cabinet Project you refer to in the other Post does contain Radiused Feet and the File made available to you via a PM most certainly contained a variety of similar objects. Perhaps it would be helpful if you could explain exactly what you are seeking?
As you have discovered there is very little information available about using the Isometric facility. Videos on this subject are probably as rare as 'droppings' from a Rocking Horse.
I want a tutorial on how to create an isometric shape such as an oval and something with curves.
