When I export to a cgm file the callout halo shows up with an outline. This happens in a program called IADS. If I drop the cgm into word the callouts and connector lines do not show up at all. Is there a reason it does that? Also some text will show up doubled or tripled sometimes when converted. If I delete that text re enter it and convert its fine. I hope someone can help since not to many company's use cgm format anymore. Thanks in advance.
Hello CGreen; It sounds like the IADS program is the one with the problem. But you could try converting a copy of the file to curves and group it, and export that.

Hello Again CGreen; Once you convert it to curves you can not edit it as text. Why not do your graphics in Corel and then ad the text in the other program?
Well CGreen; With so many programs out there it should be fairly easy to get any kind of job done that needs text and graphics. If you are a short timer like me you can get by a year or two with most any programs that do the job, but if you have a lot of time left to have to do the job I think it's best to get the latest and gratest there is and make life easier and more productive.
My Thoughts, George
