Is there a way to make the foreground color the default fill color? Having to click that every time is a pain. THANKS.
The "Foreground color" of what exactly. You can change many defaults in Corel, such as objects, text and curves.
For example I use the eyedrop tool to sample a color and then when I use the fill tool it isn't that color. I have to click on "use foreground color" before the fill will be the color I sampled.

No problem, (as long as I understand you correctly)
For PhotoPaint, click the little arrow that reverses colors! see illustration below...
For CorelDraw.....
1) Open up your document
2) Select nothing on the page, (click anywhere on the white canvas)
3) Select a tool from the toolbar (ellipse, shape, polygon, text etc.)
4) Left click a color from your swatches panel (this is your fill color)
5) Right click a color from your swatches panel (this is your outline color)
In Photo-Paint:

THANKS!! The right-click was the easiest way.
